Hey! I'm Carissa.

I have a tendency to wear many hats, both figuratively and literally. I am a mother and interpreter, an author and a student, a teacher and an activist. The work I do is scattered across the wide spans on the inter-webs, on multiple platforms, using various media. I've decided it wold be best to collect them all here, so that when I need to send someone to a specific place, I can send them to this site and tell them to look for the appropriate tab.

So, check out my work projects, hobbies, activism work, and where my life has been and is going. Thanks for stopping by.

* The last "hat" is covering up hair-loss related to methotrexate, a medication in the chemotherapy family I am taking to treat a chronic illness that is a full-time job on its own. My hair has grown back a bit, hence the pic with it dyed red.
